Ecomflows: The difference between Flows and Campaigns🚀

The Today I'm going to show you the differences between the flows and campaigns and when to exactly start with it.

So who am I?

My name is Gip and I'm the founder of Ecom Flows, where we helped over 400 dropshipping clients with setting up their email marketing automations.

So which topics are we going to handle today?

First of all we're going to start what are flows?

Afterwards I'm going to tell you a bit about what are campaigns, what are the benefits, and when should you start with flows or campaigns?

first we're going to take a look at what are flows.

And this is a question I get a lot.

So what are flows, what are automations?

Basically flows and automations are the exact same term.

It's both email marketing automations.

So here, what are flows and what are automations and what are the results?

Email marketing automations are designed to automatically send emails to your customers based on specific triggers to increase conversion, but also to improve the relationships.

a few examples of these.

Let's say the welcome series is there to increase the list size and also to increase conversions.

What can you do with increasing the list size?

If you increase your list size then you have like a big list and to that big list you can basically send like a whole email marketing campaign to that list to even get more revenue.

then we have the abandoned checkout.

The abandoned checkout is there of course to increase the conversions to eventually retarget to customers, sometimes with a small discount.

And then we have the post purchase upsell, which which is another example of a very effective email marketing automation.

Post purchase upsell is there to retarget the customers right after they've made a purchase to eventually also increase the conversion to gather even more profits on Autopilot.

then you ask what are the results?

Here it's an automated system for even more revenue and and profits.

another result, 15 to 25% more revenue on Autopilot.

It's just a one time setup and also better contact with your clients.

So what is the benefit with that better contact with your clients means better client trust.

and if your clients have a better trust in you, they are less likely to open up a dispute.

Less disputes equals a lower chance on blocks and holds.

And then the next one of course a very important one.

What are campaigns?

An email campaign is an email sent to a targeted group which actually your email list to a small group of people to achieve a specific goal such as promoting a product.

Or let's say you have an update what you want to share with your customers.

Then you can all do that by sending an email marketing campaign.

So here at the right side you can see two examples of email marketing campaign.

Those two are both made by my other email marketing agency which is called Meal Boosters.

And with Meal Boosters we only focus on brands.

these are a few examples of branded email campaigns which we create for our branded customers.

So then the question you might have is how can I grow this list?

You can grow this list very effectively by having a popup active on your store.

Or you can also retarget customers that already made a purchase, in the past.

so what are the benefits?

So one of the benefits is that you can retarget your list because, because you're already paying for Klaviyo subscription fees.

So then you can better make use out of your whole Klaviyo account.

Another benefit is that it's very easy to convert your leads into buyers because let's say someone left their email at the popup but eventually didn't buy.

Then we can later on retarget those leads into buyers by sending them targeted email marketing campaigns.

And then another one is you can send your customer updates.

So, so let's say you have a sale going on or you have a collection that you want to highlight, then it's a very effective way to send your customer updates through those email marketing campaigns.

So for a lot of people it's actually a big game changer.

So then again, what are the benefits?

Email marketing automations, it improved the customer experience, therefore lower dispute rates, it increases the conversion rates even on autopilot, And it also improves the communication with your customers, which of course builds more trust.

And then the other benefits of the email marketing campaigns, it's very good for promotion, product launches and seasonal events drives immediately more traffic and sales on your website.

It's a very easy way to stay top of mind to eventually retarget your customers and also more profits with less ad spend because you already paid the customers to go to your website through Facebook or Google or whatever.

so now you don't have to pay the customer again because you have email marketing to eventually retarget them on a very easy method.

So then here at the bottom you can see a very nice result that we achieved for one of our clients.

So as you can see, more than 75,000 Australian dollar has been generated in just 14 days.

so without those email marketing campaigns, this customer will be missing out on 75,000 Australian dollars.

And with email marketing campaigns we increased the profits of this web.

So then the most important question you might have is when should I start with it?

At the left side we can see the flows.

The flows are already interesting from 10 to 20k a month because you can already see at the bottom result, you can already receive 15 to 25% additional revenue with automated email.

Even if you have like a small webshop doing 40k a month there at the bottom you can see this webshop is doing 40k a month and almost 20% comes out of email marketing.

So therefore we can already see that these flows are very effective even at the smaller scale.

And then we have the email marketing campaigns.

So when should you start?

With email marketing campaigns, we always set the threshold at having at least 4,000 active profiles.

so why is that?

Otherwise you have too small of a list and it won't be profitable for you.

And we only want to work with collaborations where it's profitable for both sides.

So also good for you to know if you want to get started with campaigns.

There's already like a full flow setup included, so you don't have to worry about that.

So you don't have to pay double for like a flow setup.

And then afterwards also for the campaigns.

Now if you start with campaigns, it's already included.

So the conclusion of all of this both are very effective, but combining them is gold.

Especially if you have more than 4,000 active profiles within your Klaviyo account.
